The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.
I love this verse. It says that God wants us to have great blessing, and with it--no sorrow. I love this because it clearly explains that there is no downside to being blessed of God, and we don't need to apologize for having His blessings showered on us. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Many people around the world who are wealthy by worldly standards are miserable. They have never come to understand the favor of the Lord. Favor doesn't always mean you have the most expensive house on the block; it means whatever house you live in is filled with the love and blessings of God Almighty. God's favor will add immeasurable happiness to your life because He is the one who commands the blessing.
Do you feel hopelessly lost and nowhere close to receiving a torrential downpour of heaven's riches? It only takes God a moment to move you from the pit of despair to the pinnacle of success. No matter how tragic the circumstances that surround you, He can take your life and turn it into a thing of beauty. Give the sorrows to Him, and get ready for your cap to overflow.
