So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.
God wants you to have the very best--and He always provides for your best. But we don't always believe it.
God sent Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, and even though they were enslaved and desperately in need of someone to help them, their response to Moses was, "Prove to use that God sent you!" It took ten earth-shattering miracles before Moses was free to lead the people out of captivity, through the Red Sea, and into the wilderness. And what was their reaction? "Why did you bring us out here to die?" They romanticized their past so much that they were more willing to return to Egypt and live as slaves than to trust God for the Promised Land.
Today I am telling you to do yourselves a favor and forget the past. It's over! Move on, trusting that the Lord has things prepared for you!
