I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways.
Certainly we are living in a world that needs the Word of God to light our way each and every day. The verse that spoke to you during last year's marriage crisis can give you peace in your current financial struggle.
Each verse of the Bible comes alive as you read it and acts as a healing balm to your soul as you apply its sacred promises. It is the guidebook by which you should live your life and the best gift you can give any friend. It never returns void.
Children who are taught early in life to read the Word understand that when circumstances slap them in the face, this is where they need to turn.
The Lord is a very present source of help in our time of struggle, but how do we know that unless we do as commanded and meditate on His Word day and night? In order to be equipped for the battle when it comes, we must hide these precious words in our heart. If you are not reading Scripture on a daily basis, I encourage you to start forming this habit today. There has never been a better time to arm yourself with the Word.
