Part Five—
AntiSemitism brings the curse of God!
Several years ago I was in West Berlin for a speaking engagement. This was before the Berlin wall came down, and we stood at Checkpoint Charlie with some Christians. One lady asked me “Pastor Hagee, why did God allow the communists to build a wall around us?” The answer I gave her was scriptural: “Because your fathers built a wall around the Jews at Auschwitz and Dachau and BergenBelsen and other places.”
I pointed out that the concentration camp at Dachau with its walls and gun towers is strikingly similar to the Berlin Wall. I continued, “Here is a fence 12 feet high with a no man’s land, and a second fence that’s electrified. That’s how the Nazis built Dachau. You put machine gun towers down the middle and so have the communists. The Nazis put attack dogs down the middle, trained to kill. So have the communists.
Israel is the only nation created by a sovereign act of God. The title deed to the nation of Israel is recorded in the book of Genesis. All other nations were created by an act of men, but Israel was created by God. God defends Israel. “He that keepeth a military term Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep” Psalm 121:4. Now if God created Israel, if God loves Israel and defends Israel, does it not make sense to say that those who fight with Israel are fighting against God almighty? I want to say this to the U.S. State Department in this new administration: Bless Israel. Do not afflict the nation of Israel, because God is on the side of Israel.
