A Golden Hedge of Protection by Tammy Lang Jensen
A thousand may fall at your side, 10,000 at your right hand, but it will not come near you (Psalm 91:7).

You have a golden hedge of protection around you. In the stillness, can you hear the flutter of angel wings. Shoulder to shoulder they surround you, to quench the darts of the enemy. Some were designed with one solitary purpose in mind.

Protect my children at all cost....For He Will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not even strike your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:12). Lord of heaven‘s armies, command us as you will. Guide us and protect us, as we bounce around with our free will.

Make our decisions steadfast and secure. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things you will never stumble (2 Peter 1:10). And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish, and ground you securely, and strengthen and settle you (1 Peter 5:10). Are you strengthened in God, do you have a made-up mind?

When God calls you, do you walks securely in that call? The Lord commands us to worry not, to fret not. He has us in the palm of his hand. What better protection could we ask for. And when our time is up on earth, he promises to meet us at the Golden gate. He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8). The Lord will not leave you without defense. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). Did I not close the mouth of the lion, did I not release Jonah from the fish. I am not a man, that I might lie (Numbers 23:19). Invite me in to your circumstance, yield your life to Me.

I will far exceed your greatest expectations, dare to ask Me in. Today I surrender my life to you Lord, do with me as you will. Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, and give up your sins— even those you do in secret. Then you won’t be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless (Job 12:13-15)....
