He will never leave you or forsake you. Our God is unwavering and immutable. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms (Deuteronomy 33:27).
God will catch you if you fall. He will guide you along right paths. Even if you make your bed in Sheol, I will be there. In your waking up and your lying down, I am there. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not dash your foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12). The Lord exults over you, the Lord sings over you. All his promises are “Yes” and “Amen”.
The Lord your God is with you, the mighty warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). So next time the devil tells you, you are all alone, your fall from grace has been too great! Just remind him of the above verses. Tell him that God says, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”....
