My Light and My Salvation by John Hagee

It's a relationship of trust in God and yourself and others that produces inner poise under stress.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Webster's Dictionary defines confidence as "assurance." It comes from con, meaning "with," and fideo, meaning "faith." It's a relationship of trust in God and yourself and others that produces inner poise under stress.

If you know that Jesus is the Lord of your life, you can have the confidence that your life can be lived without limits, that your life can be an adventure. Faith is starting out before you know how it's going to come out. Faith does not demand miracles, but it creates and environment where miracles are the only thing that can happen. If God has given you a dream, hold on to it and He will bring t to pass! Nothing can stop you. God is for you; and if God is for you, who can be against you?

He is greater than the mountain you are climbing.
