In my time this morning I heard the Father say (Matthew 5:12). Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.
The verse above says, God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers (Matthew 5:11). I heard the Lord say, tell my prophets they will need backbone in this season. Many will come against them in this world, against the words they release from me.
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world (John 16:33). We serve a God that is all powerful, all knowing, all providing, all healing, and all seeing. Nothing escapes his attention, care, concern or ability. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). The father has our days planned out for good and not for evil, to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He hears us ( 1 John 5:14). Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer believe that you have received it and it will be yours (Mark 11:24). So should we be praying for mercy and for God to turn back the hurricanes...
Absolutely! But then what are we left to think if he does not? That is when I clearly heard this scripture: And I will give them a heart to know Me, that I AM the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be there God: for they shall return unto Me with their whole heart (Jeremiah 24:7).... God longs for a relationship with you, won't you be his sons and daughters....
