Generous giving to God will result in generous receiving from God. Isn’t that the way you want to live your life?
2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance.”
Those who are generous in giving to God always experience generous receiving from God. Like I have said many times, it is impossible to out give God. You simply cannot do it.
The more you honor Him, the more He will honor you. How? With favor and earthly blessings. He will fully supply not only what you need, but He will even bless you with what you want and what you desire.
When I first came to Christ, people told me things like, “Now, God may meet your need, but don’t get your hopes too high. You never know what God might do. And don’t ever even think about asking Him for something that you desire.”
Guess what? I found out they were wrong. His Word says that He will not only meet my needs, but if I will delight myself in Him, He will give me the desires of my heart (Psalm 37:4).
I cannot tell you of all the times that God has generously given back to me.
God ALWAYS gives back to us generously. Why? Because that’s His Word!
And His Word will work for you in your life just like it works in mine! Remember, generous giving to God will result in generous receiving from God.
