The father said, that is how it’s going to be with the glory that is coming. Like a soft rain at first, causing everything to become lush and green. But as the days go by, the flow will become stronger.
Able to wash away impurities and imperfections. Cleansing God’s people of all that has had them bound. The glory will light their path in the darkness. As the rain soaks into the ground, it will become fertile to birth the seed of the new generation. Warriors rising up, generals taking position. Out with the old and in with the new.
Those willing to consistently stand on the word. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth (John 17:17). In the beginning was the word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). The word became flesh and dwelt among us. Christ came that he might understand our sufferings and we might understand his. In him was life and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:4-5). Those who are in Christ shall not be overcome.
Let us cling to this one hope without wavering for he who promised is faithful. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently (Romans 8:25). Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Have you placed your hope in the one they call faithful and true.
Don’t place your hope in the things of this world, they will shake, crumble , change and fall. But our God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand....
